Twenty10 Property is Scotland's newest property portal and leading independent property guide. I was approached to design the corporate identity as a first step to establishing the business.
To follow will be the design of a fully functional CMS (Content Management Site) which will allow users to register, search and display properties.

For the complete refresh of Axios' website, I worked on some development of the sites functionality, designed the new html template and designed the new look and feel of the site. Designs were drafted up initially using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, before hand-coding the sites mark-up and CSS, ready for production.
The result was a refreshed website which is now much easier to navigate with a greater focus on key aspects of the company and its product.

Certain members of the Scottish Tourist Guides Association (STGA) worked together to seek production of a 2009 calendar to mark Scotland's Homecoming year.
I was asked to design the calendar making use of the guides' photographs and using them within the design to promote Scotland and the events which were taking place. The result was a captivating and inspiring calendar which also had useful details about the year-long activities.

Small World Tours, with Ken Hanley, is one of the highest regarded tour guides in Scotland. I was initially contacted by Ken to devise a new image for the company. Following on from the companies re-brand, a new website was to follow.
The redesigns aims were to bring more of Ken's character into the site and to integrate a warm Scottish tone, reflective of that which can be found on one of Ken Hanley's tours. There was also the request for a gallery to showcase, through Ken's passion for photography, some of the tours done to date.

Spreadshirt is the worldwide creative platform for personalised apparel.
In 2008 they posted a competition for a logo on which they could launch their new brand online. This was the final of many iterations submitted, which played on the concept of personal identity through the branding.
The deliverables were a business stationery pack and in-situ proposals of the branding on actual items of clothing.

As one of Scotland's highest regarded Tour Guides, it was essential that Small World Tours had a brand behind it which would serve to enhance its image of being one of Scotland's leading guides.
From this, a bold and traditional brand was formed with a robustly Scottish and traditional feel to it. The brand formed the basis on which the companies new stationery, vehicle graphics and website were built. Click to visit the Small World Tours website.

Knowing exactly what you want from a design project can be a difficult task, but look no further...
With a wide experience of managing multiple design projects, from concept to completion, Northswiss can offer advice and services on more than just one aspect of your project.

When starting each project, it is not only crucial to understand each target market, but also the client; looking at their individual needs and wants, and working with them to develop the most creative solution to their requirements.
That's why I'd like to get to know you, not just your brief!
After the initial meeting I will then develop several concepts, based on the brief, and present several options to you.
Through continuous communication we will continue to develop the concept with the aim of delivering the most effective design for your needs.
Once the final design has been developed you will receive your artwork/finished product which will have been individually designed to your requirements.
Having completed a design degree at Edinburgh's Napier University, I have since been working for a global software company based in Edinburgh City Centre. I am responsible for designing a wide range of corporate and advertising material ,and have recently undertaken the re-design of the new corporate website.
I have also managed and delivered a number of freelance projects, involving a variety of clients since 2006. Work so far has included the production of printed collateral; exhibit banners; websites; corporate branding and stationery and also vehicle graphics. I enjoy the satisfaction and challenges that come from working with a client from start to finish through a project.
If I am not found behind a computer screen working on my latest masterpiece, I can usually be found in the surrounding hills out on the mountain bike, or dangling from the climbing walls at the world's largest indoor climbing arena - in both cases, with camera in hand as I indulge in some amateur photography [photo gallery coming soon...]
This role involves the production and project management of both printed and online marketing material for this global IT Software company; communicating with offices all over the world and liasing with external suppliers. I have recently played a major role in the design and development of the new global web site, just launched this year.
Working freelance on a wide variety of projects, I consult with clients and drew up creative briefs based on their individual needs. Projects to date have spanned web design, graphic design and website development across a wide range of medium, and across various industry sectors. Time and project management are both key in ensuring an effective delivery of service to each client.
Working closely with local businesses and students, I was responsible for the design and production of artwork for this busy print and design studio. Work involved consulting and advising customers on the best solution for their needs. Projects included signage, stationery, packaging and promotional.
